<p>The FIDES Ground Failure programme allows ground failure verifications to be carried out quickly in accordance with DIN 4017 or DIN EN 1997-1 (Eurocode EC7) with a user-friendly input interface. All common foundation types (rectangular, circular and strip foundations) can be verified. The programme takes into account any number of soil layers and the groundwater level.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Settlement calculation of foundation groups according to DIN 4019</h2>

<p>Increasingly dense building development means that construction projects increasingly require predictions of expected ground deformation and settlements in the area of neighbouring structures. DIN 4019 offers good comparability with other calculation methods and the calculation can be easily checked with a manual calculation. The calculation method is significantly faster than FE methods. FIDES-Setting 2.5D makes it possible to combine various foundations in the ground plan to form a foundation group and to analyse their mutual influence.</p>
