Graphically interactive pre- and post-processor with SOFiSTiK interface
FIDES-WinTUBE was originally developed for tunnelling and therefore contains a large number of wizards that optimally support the user with tunnelling-specific problems.
However, the functionality is so generalised that FIDES-WinTUBE can be used for many finite element calculations.

Especially when spatial volume elements and/or the consideration of successive construction stages (load history) are required. The integrated SOFiSTiK interface is used to generate not only the input data sets for the FE mesh structure, but also the data for the entire calculation process. Manual intervention in the generated SOFiSTiK input files is not necessary, but is possible at any time. The calculation is performed with the SOFiSTiK calculation kernels TALPA or ASE. In addition to a technical report with graphics and a detailed description of the calculation, the results plots are also generated. The SOFiSTiK tools can be used to visualise the results.
