With the current version of the FIDES Infrastructure Toolbox (FIT), we are extending the functionality for specialist foundation engineering with a powerful new feature: parametric modelling of excavation support walls directly in Autodesk Revit.
Using a dialog-based workflow, you create complete excavation support systems in just a few steps, including soldier pile walls, sheet pile walls, diaphragm walls and bored pile walls. All components, such as steel beams, lagging, walers and anchors, are generated automatically and remain fully parametrically linked.
Changes to geometry, elevations or anchor levels are automatically applied to the entire model. This makes it possible to model even complex excavations much faster and to adapt them flexibly to new design requirements at any time.
